I have neglected this journal, mostly because entries here tend to be longer and more detailed so I can’t type one out during a lull in my work day. But I tend to have an entry on YA horror collecting soon. For now please take a look at what has been blogged about around the biblio-blogs in the past month of July.

Chark Blog - Publishers’ Returns, Richard Charkin takes on book returns and publishers. And I have been thinking about this lately. If publishers hate this practice why not just tell booksellers that 1. Return the books in good condition to get a refund, or 2. You cant’ return them so buy what you think you can sell then come back for more.
